Vacuum Resistance Furnace
The working hot zone size for this bottom loading furnace is 63″ ID by 124″ tall. It has a maximum operating temperature of 2,000oC and a minimum vacuum level of 20 microns. Vacuum is achieved using a single-stage rotary piston pump combined with a 2,700 CFM mechanical booster (10″ inlet).
The graphite insulation is entirely shielded by a Carbon/Carbon (C/C) cylindrical liner, top and bottom C/C disks, and C/C electrode and vacuum port penetration protectors.
